Directed by Chis Graham, Poiema Voices was formed in July 2001 in order to present and record the hymns and sacred songs of Jane Simpson. The ensemble includes members of the S. Michael and All Angel's Choir, S. Barnabas Choir and the Jubilate Singers.

Poiema Voices is one of five Christchurch choirs to be recorded in May 2002 by TVNZ for 'Praise Be'
